The NEC Casio Mobile MEDIAS N-04C. This phone comes equipped with a 4 inch (480×854) glass screen, a 800 mHz processor, 5 megapixel digital camera with burst mode, a 1seg tv, bluetooth, wi-fi, NFC Wallet and Google Android 2.2 OD.
Dell has released the Dell Venue Pro to the UK market. The Venue Pro is a Windows 7 smartphone and is currently priced at around $745 inlcuding taxes. It features a 4.1 WVGA Amoled touchscreen display, a slideoout QWERTY keyboard, Microsoft Windows 7 operating system, and a 1 GHz processor. Additional features include a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and HD video recording.
Sprint and HTC recently announced the “Arrive” formerly known as HTC 7 Pro. This is the first CDMA Windows 7 Phone to be sold in the U.S. The Arrive differs from other WP7 devces in that it has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard that can also tilt up for better angle views. . The Arrive features all of the same user interface and software tools that come with other WP7 devices, including the MarketPlace, Bing Search, Zune, and Microsoft Office integration.
It has a 5 megapixel camera with flash, autofocus and 720p HD video capture, stereo Bluetooth 2.1 EDR, WiFi, and GPS. The Arrive also has a 3.6 inch display with 800×480 pixels and it powered by 1GHz Qualcomm SnapDragon processor. It has 16GB of built-in storage, and has access to another 25GB of data storage in the cloud. Will be available starting March 20th.
HTC recently announced the Merge, a new CDMA/GSM world phone that runs Android 2.2 and has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The Merge has HTC’s Sense user interface overlay and it offers a 3.8 inch touch display, 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, flash and 720p HD video capture, GPS, and Wi-Fi.
HTC did not say which carriers would be offering this phone but it did state that North America operators would sell the Merge this spring. This makes the Merge the first CDMA world phone. In the past, both Verizon Wireless and Sprint have offered dual-mode CDMA/GSM world phones.
An HTC spokesman confirmed to Slashgear that the Desire HD, Desire Z, Desire, and Incredible S will be updated from Android 2.2 Froyo to Android 3.3 Gingerbread by the end of June.
Speaking to the Wall Street Journal, Verizon Wireless CEO, Dan Mead indicated that Apple will eventually offer mobile products that can use Verizon’s Long Term Evolution 4G network.
He says, “You’ll see more coming from Apple on LTE. They understand the value proposition of LTE and I feel very confident that they are going to be part of it.” Mead would not speak about any specific products, and he did not address a timefram for their release. Apple COO, Tom Cook, recently defended the Verizon iPhone 4′s lack of LTE by saying that including LTE would have led to design compromises for the iPhone 4,thus Apple was not willing to make at the time.
Recently, T-Mobile announced that it will be shutting down the Danger Service and Sidekick devices on May 31st. T-Mobile said that it will help current SideKick customers transition their data from their Sidekick device to another device, computer or account through various tools. T-Moble has made a new version of myT-Moblie available to SideKick users. It allows them to take advantage of data backup, including contacts, photos, calendar items, notes, and more. There is available an application in the Sidekick Catalogue that will let users export their data to a memory card.

Finally, Sidekick users may also bring their devide to a T-Mobile store, where personal data may be transferred to a new devide. T-Mobile stated that more information will become available soon. T-Mobile discontinued sales of SideKick devices last summer, although it did also announce in January that it was planning to bring “Sidekick 4G” to the market some time this year.
